Dr. Sherry Wan grew up in Ann Arbor, MI and lived all over the US before settling down in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her fiancé, Michael.
Dr. Wan graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology where she was also a pole-vaulter on the varsity track & field team. She then completed a dual degree program at the University of Pennsylvania where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) as well as a Bioengineering Master of Science in Engineering degree (MSE). Afterwards, she completed her orthodontic education at the University of Washington where she obtained her Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and Certificate in Orthodontics degrees, and she has been practicing in the greater-Seattle area since.
Dr. Wan is experienced in early interceptive (children’s), adolescent, and adult orthodontic treatment, as well as complex, surgical, and interdisciplinary orthodontic care. She is also experienced with digital orthodontics and clear aligner treatment with Invisalign. Dr. Wan has conducted research on orthodontic topics such as anterior open bite and also has numerous scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
In her free time she enjoys paddle-boarding, trying new recipes, tending to her indoor plant garden, and venturing out on walks with her three dogs and fiancé.
Dr. Wan prides herself on providing personalized, precise, and detail-oriented orthodontic treatment where every patient can feel well taken care of, and she looks forward to creating more smiles in our community.
